It can be difficult to see the consequences of what you do, why you do what you do.
MANfeels that one only "ends up" in fights, trouble, abuse, does not reach ones goals or that othersconstantly getting upset or angry about things you do.
Its easy to get stuck in old waysbehavioral patterns but "if you do what youve always done, youll get what youve always got".Behavior analysis is a way to achieve behavior change.A behavioral analysis (behavioral chain) can clarify patterns in how one thinks, feels andmake.
You can see what consequences behaviors have for me and my surroundings on maps andlong term.
You can more clearly see negative problem behaviors that you may be stuck in andhave a hard time breaking.
You also learn to see your vulnerability and find others more constructivebehaviors that can be taught instead - alternative behaviors.You are not your behavior.
You can train yourself to do things differently, think about how toexample react and act differently at your old grandmothers house than when you are at school,work or with your parents.You will "get to know" yourself and what you do a little better, understand yourself (or someoneother) better.
And then practice alternative behaviours, understand what you need to practiceto do differently and have a plan to implement this.
